Skurio innovation shortlisted for UK IT Industry Awards 2018
7 September, 2018
Dark Web monitoring firm Skurio today announces that the company’s flagship product BreachAlert has been shortlisted as the ‘Security Innovation of the Year’ at the UK Industry Awards 2018.
BreachAlert continuously monitors online channels commonly used by cybercriminals to buy and sell data that’s been hacked, leaked or stolen from organisations. It acts like a burglar alarm for corporate data — alerting you in real time via Slack, email or SMS to any posts that contain potentially stolen information belonging to you. The platform is fully cloud-hosted, requires no on-site installation, and can be configured by customers in minutes.
Skurio CEO, Jeremy Hendy said “Being shortlisted for Security Innovation of the Year is the testament to the quality of our dark web monitoring technology.
“No company big or small is immune from the threat of the dark web. Our aim is to extend the security capabilities of all businesses by enabling you to keep track of your data that already lives outside your firewall.”
The Security Innovation of the Year Award is presented to an innovative new product or service that has delivered measurable benefit for customers in areas such as IT security, data protection, information management, risk management, business continuity, or disaster recovery.
Paul Fletcher, group CEO, BCS, The Chartered Institute for IT, said: “Congratulations to Skurio for being shortlisted — they clearly demonstrate the highest levels of excellence and innovation across today’s IT sector. These awards showcase some of the brightest and best in our industry, and it is a significant achievement to be shortlisted.”
The award ceremony will take place on Wednesday 14 November 2018 in Battersea Evolution, London.
