Skurio unites with more than 43 channel partners in 37 countries across the globe to support SMEs in a new era of cyber threats and data breaches
Hike in Government legislation across the globe around the safety of data and privacy is also a core driver for the expansion of outsourced cyber security
A new era of cyber threats and government legislation across the globe around the safety of data and digital risk protection has propelled Skurio (skurio.com) to expand its channel partnership programme rapidly.
Skurio – the digital risk protection specialist founded in Belfast in 2011, now has 43 channel partners – including Managed Service Providers (MSPs) and Value-Added Resellers in 37 countries covering all continents globally. Partners include Saepio in the UK, ICD Technologies in the UAE, and Cydea Tech in Pakistan.
The scale and sophistication of the cyber risk facing businesses today and the expanding risk surface caused by digital transformation, the cloud, and remote, home working now require SMEs worldwide to have a multi-layered proactive approach to security.
Sophia Anastasi, Global Channel Sales Director at Skurio, comments:
“Our Channel Partners are providing a critical distribution funnel to quickly support SMEs’ digital risk requirements in a new era of cyber threats and ensure they are compliant with government legislation. In 2022 and beyond, organisations will need to take proactive steps to protect data beyond the firewall, which means having the right defences on remote devices and vital intelligence to identify threats and detect when a breach has occurred.
“With this intelligence, businesses can minimise the financial and reputation impact of data falling into the wrong hands. A breach can damage customer trust with the ripple effect of lost business.”
Skurio’s channel partnership expansion is a critical move to ensure small and medium-sized businesses (SMEs) without in-house resources or expertise in cybersecurity have immediate access to Skurio’s innovative technology and expert threat intelligence team at an affordable price. In addition, Skurio’s cybersecurity software help customers protect themselves from a wide range of digital risks. The Skurio Digital Risk Protection platform (DRP) combines automated, round-the-clock monitoring of the surface, deep and Dark Web with powerful analytic capabilities for cyber threat intelligence.
Recently, more Governments across the globe have introduced legislation around the safety of data and privacy, which is putting additional pressure on SMEs to ensure they are compliant and mitigating risk. 128[1] out of 194 countries across the world now have data and privacy laws, with other countries in the process of progressing draft legislation, including Saudi Arabia, Pakistan, Zimbabwe, and Tanzania. The cost of recovery from a significant data breach is, on average, £3.1million.
Sophia Anastasi, Global Channel Sales Director at Skurio, comments:
“Skurio has made it a number one priority to ensure its offering is as ‘channel friendly’ as possible, including the development of APIs and connectors so that partners can embed the technology into their portals and customer front ends. Through our planned partner growth to over 120 active partners, we are now on track to support businesses in more than 60 countries by the end of 2022.”
